That damned Apology (Part 2)

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama

He should have said something more like this:

The United States condemns, in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. We’re working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats. I’ve also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people. Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.

Opps! He forgot to draw George Bush instead. He's the one who needs to apologize (to US and all the countries he had alienated).

Truth? Hey, TRUTH! Come on, stop putting your shoes on already!

And while he harps on this, we're missing the joy of seeing him defend statements Mitt Romney has already disowned and walked back.

Well, it's not like there won't be others.

When you have a 3 week lag time between hearing your talking points and your strip's publication, possibly you should wait and see if the points still have any traction 2 or 3 days later. Like his Chevy Volt series. Like just about everything Bruce Timely spills his research over.

Hold on a sec Brucie. When i see Romney changing his views and opinions with changes in the wind direction, he obviously holds the American people in contempt. Where's our apology?

Wow -- one of the hoariest of all right-wing Obama talking points ("Obama's always apologizing for Amurrica!!") AND a strip that's almost completely blank. Just when you thought the bar for minimal effort couldn't get any lower, Bruce Tinsley proudly proves you wrong.

And if he had anything resembling a conscience, the first item on his own to-do list would be to apologize to everyone who ever paid him for producing his "comic strip" because he's basically been giving them nothing for their money all these years.

@Frank Stone: If only it had been completely blank, it would have been better drawn and more honest.

10-11-12: Yay, more Chevy Volt!

To Bruce Tinsley, the Chevy Volt is the Joy Behar of cars.

I'm not going to put any more effort into this comment than Tinshley put into today's "comic".

Nice try Randy, but I can clearly understand what you're getting at. So therefore greater effort must have been made.
