Those damned Crowds

What's Mallard raving about today?

Teabaggers, Speaker Pelosi, Senator Reid.

Oh, really?

Like this guy? ("Vanderboegh said he once worked as a warehouse manager but now lives on government disability checks.")

Or this guy? ("When Tom Grimes lost his job as a financial consultant 15 months ago, he called his congressman, a Democrat, for help getting government health care.")

Also, the Teabaggers don't even understand the Tax Policy they are moaning about. Case in point...a certain waterfowl who thinks that if you don't owe additional tax in April it means you pay no taxes.

That damned Oil

What's Mallard raving about today?

Teabaggers, Speaker Pelosi, Senator Reid.

Wow, Mallard spends a lot of time imagining scenarios in which he, and his nut-bag cohorts are the topic of conversation among Americas political leaders.

Not for the first time...delusions of grandeur.

Those Damned Revolters

What's mallard raving about today?

Tebaggers, Speaker Pelosi, Senator Reid.

Missing, of course, are the teabaggers spitting on Black congressmen and hurling racial epithets at them. Plus, of course, homophobic epithets at Barney Frank.

That damned dialect

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid, Speaker Pelosi, President Obama, Teabaggers.

I've tried, for two days, to avoid the "substance" (for lack of a better word) of this series.

But the notion that anyone who supported the Oligarchy under President Bush now wants to criticize anyone for Elitism or living in an Ivory Tower is simply beyond the pale.

Not to mention the fact that the Teabaggers are mostly a group of conspiracy-theorists, fringe radicals, and outright racists. Being superior to them is hard to avoid.

Those damned Fools

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid, Speaker Pelosi, Teabaggers.

How dare anyone impugn the Teabaggers intelligence!

This fellow, a fool? More like a genius-level Teabbagger.
Dipers? touché, sir.

And this Linguistic Scholar puts us all to shame.

But King Teabbagger sums it all up. Shut up, Morans.

Those damned Ants

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid, Speaker Pelosi, Teabaggers.

Someone alert the authorities.

The Capitol Dome, or some sort of addled-brained facsimile, has floated away.

That damned touch

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid, Race.

Out of touch? You really want to talk about who is out of touch?
  • 68% of Republicans either believe President Obama should be impeached or are not sure.
  • 58% of Republicans are not sure if he was born in the United States or are sure he wasn't (and I'm sure race plays no part in this shared delusion)
  • 57% either believe he wants the terrorists to win or are not sure if he wants them to win.
  • And 64% either believe he hates white people or are not sure if he hates white people.
Bottom Line: About 33% of Republicans are batshit insane. Another 33% are not sure whether they are batshit insane, but they may be.

That damned Debate

What's Mallard raving about today?

Vice President Biden, Senator Reid, Racism.

Two days running on Senator Reid's rather truthful statement, in mallard's continuing attempting to redefine discussing race as Racism.

Anyone wanta to bet that Mallard doesn't devote one day to this quote, from South Carolina Republican Andre Bauer:
"My grandmother was not a highly educated woman, but she told me as a small child to quit feeding stray animals. You know why? Because they breed...You’re facilitating the problem if you give an animal or a person ample food supply. They will reproduce, especially ones that don’t think too much further than that. And so what you’ve got to do is you've got to curtail that type of behavior. They don’t know any better."

Those damned Circles

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid, President Carter, Race.

Uncomfortable and impolitic as Senator Reid's words were, does anyone really want to argue that they aren't true, for better or worse?

The same is true for what President Carter said, which, to be precise (unlike Mallard who is deliberately misrepresenting the statement) was this: "I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African-American."

Which means that Mallard does not want to hang out in circles with people who say things that are true, which is entirely believable.

That damned Bribe

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid.

Remember how Mallard raved against Republicans for running the debt up in record fashion?

Yeah, me neither.

That damned Senator Reid

What's Mallard raving about today?

Senator Reid.

Mallard's really on a roll here.

After reducing the Immigration debate to a cutting-in-line metaphor, Mallard is now comparing the war in Iraq to a girl's soccer game. I don't know where these statistics are kept, but I strongly suspect AYSO has not seen over 3,000 deaths in the last 4 years.
