That damned Mammoth

What's Mallard raving about today?

Congress, Taxes, Wooly Mammoths

Based on the fact that it will be the only Wooly Mammoth in existence, it will be part of the 1% so Congress will give it a tax break, is what I think you mean.

In other news...Mallard Fillmore decided he needs a significant raise in 2012. Unable to increase his income, he reduces the hours he spends "working" so his hourly rate goes up. The quality of his strip decreases, but only slightly, since there really wasn't much room to get worse in the first place.

"Boy, Congress sure does exercise its Constitutionally-derived power to lay and collect taxes, am I right? Hello? Is this thing on?"

*sound of vomiting crickets*

Hey, he's replaced his crystal ball with the Mallard 3000: "Those clowns in congress did it again. What a bunch of clowns."

Otherwise, I like how, when Brews draws a mammoth, it looks more like a dog than when he draws a dog.

Every day he's copypastin'...

Hold up, I thought Congress was Republican-controlled for the moment! Teabagger Tidal Wave O'Triumph and all that?

So what are you saying here, Batshit? That the GOP's going to lose a crapload of seats, or that the GOP loves raising taxes? (The latter is true and the former is likely, I just want you to clarify.)

Well, the Rethugs do love raising taxes on the working classes.

Ha ha! It's funny because the picture of Mallard is a clone of every other one this week!

If Congress cloned elephantine Bullsh!t, "Mallard Fillmore" would be out of business.

It makes sense that this Republican Congress would impose a tax on wooly mammoths when you consider that they aren't wooly mammoths. Taxes are for somebody who's not rich, not corporate, and not them.
