What's Mallard raving about today?
The Election
So, I guess Mallard is trying to say that pretty much anyone can beat President Obama, which may or may not be true.
What's impossible to credit, however, is the idea that a Grilled Cheese Sandwich could possibly engender more unforeseen Constitutional questions than a Black man winning the Presidency did among Right Wingers.

Can we see that grilled cheese sandwich's birth certificate? What if the sandwich was made by an immigrant? Does the VP still get to be president if said VP "accidentally" eats the sandwich? Will John Boehner be okay with not being the orangeyist Republican politician?
So many questions...
Once again Tinsh has been more truthful than he intended: The same self-professed patriots who've been wrapping themselves in Teh Constetooshun while shrieking "Where's the birth certificate?" and "I want my country back!" would have no reluctance at all rallying around an inanimate object constitutionally ineligible by definition for the presidency if they thought it would drive the inconveniently duly-elected colored fellow out of the White House...
Hur-hur! Yeah, cuz Obama's so unpopular, even a grilled cheese sandwich could beat 'im! Hur-hur!
Tell the truth, Mallard: that "crystal ball" of yours is really just a snowglobe that's been emptied out and refilled with vodka, isn't it?
I remember a similar argument four years ago, wedged between Tinsley's open attacks on McCain ("Look everybody! I'm independent!! And not racist! Hrrghyyarrrrrrrp!!").
The GOP field is even more of a clown-car than last time. Romney's got it sewn up, but unlike Tinsley's grilled cheese sandwich, Mittens has waaaay too much baggage (which he adds to pretty much every time he opens that neck-anus of his) and considerably less charm.
Barring something horrific happening in the next eight months, Obama's a shoo-in. As gobbing stupid as he is, Batshit knows this.
"...And then they discovered that the sandwich was a Mormon, so then they desperately sought a Christian pile of bat's shit..."
So the awesome spatula is used for flipping the grilled cheese sandwich, but where do awesome hamsters fit in? Don't answer that.
The sandwich will only carry the GOP convention if it's American cheese on white bread.
The cheese sandwich would have a pretty good shot at the Republican demographic if it looked like this one
Don't get cocky, kids. With billions of dollars from the Kochs and the Saudis and who-knows-who, Mitt Romney may win the same way Berlusconi kept winning in Italy.
More realistically (because Obama seems pretty good at courting corporatist allies) the GOP is ceding the White House and aiming to keep Congress. That way, they get what they want and can put the blame on the black man. When has that happened before?
