That damned Cup

What's Mallard raving about today?

Soda

Pssst, Mallard. The man who passed this ban is one of your beloved Job Creators. Are you sure you are allowed to criticize?

Remember, folks: Fluoride in drinking water will give you Teh Gay and marijuana will turn you into a murdering psychopath, but if corporations want to pump your children full of empty carbs day and night, that's THEIR business, and their right as Our Betters!

(Thanks to Michelle Malkin for spelling it out for us worthless blue-collar scumbags. I've never signed the front of a check in my life!)

We're all ivory-tower peons who've never trimmed a payroll or sacked a mom & pop shop in our lives.

(Tog, there's something wrong with that article you linked to — it says Fox News trimmed a quote from Obama with misleading intent. But THAT's UNpossible!)

And now we return to Bruce and Mallard's ongoing wacky 64-oz adventures in "Two Goons, One Cup."

Remember Tog: it's only ever Class Warfare when policy hurts the elite; policy that hurts the... 'others', why that's just good common sense!

I agree that the soda ban thing is dumb, but I also don't care very much. Certainly, I don't care enough to spend my once national platform that, through nothing but luck and wingnut welfare has bestowed unto me, talking about something asinine and local to an area that I"m not even in.

First they came for the gluttons, and I said nothing, because I was in the can, pissing up a storm.

Stupid Bug Government, making you wear seat belts and banning smoking in day care centers! Why, they even have the unmitigated gall to ban drunk driving! WHERE WILL IT ALL END, THINK OF THE DRUNK CHILDREN SMOKERS

A dinosaur and a cup of soda? The sad thing is, for Brews, that's more artistically creative and industrious than usual, especially for a Sunday.

Darned if I can tell what he thinks his point is, though.

The point, well. I remember 30+ years ago hearing some conservative fellow dissing conservationists, and he said "If we'd had these guys around a million years ago, we'd be up to our asses in dinosaurs."

See? That's his point.

Tinshley's afraid that, if Bloomberg's ideas catch on, he won't be able to get 72-ounce cups to hide his whiskey in while driving any more.

Meanwhile, it's been 11 days since Mallard forgot America.

Monday's strip: Future Mallard comes back in time through his two-to-three-week lag to answer the hundreds of e-mails he's received about how someone else is a lying sack of shit!

...And ignores any e-mails he's gotten about forgetting July Fourth.

Man, it's almost as funny as watching Romney's patsies flailing "retroactive retirement" malarkey at us.

Every time a dinosaur (or caveman) appears, you just KNOW, before getting to the text, that it is going to be particularly stupid, even by MF standards.

Sunday comics are supersized.
Most cartoonists use that space for jokes that take a little extra time or space to tell, but Mallard Fillmore is almost unique in filling that space with the same-old toxic trash, just drawn bigger and wordier.
It's not the stupidity that bugs me; it's the laziness.
