What's Mallard raving about today?
Santa, Elves, Taxes
Mallard Fillmore: The only thing wrong about Mitt Romney's 47% remark is that he got the percentage wrong. since 51% of moochers and takers voted for President Obama. But don't worry, continuing to insult 51% of America will win us the next election!

In every age, there are a few suck-ups who defend the right of the greedy to own everything while grinding the peasantry into the dirt.
No-one loves the suck-ups, not even the greedy. This may explain why "Mallard Fillmore" is such a sad, angry "comic".
Even Santa's clearly bored by this tripe.
LEAVE THE WEALTHY ALONE! LEAVE THEM ALONE RIGHT -NOW-!!
This guy's a phony anyway. I just watched RISE OF THE GUARDIANS with my daughter, and Santa's a big Russian guy with tattoos.
"We're going to close the unproductive tax loopholes that allow some of the truly wealthy to avoid paying their fair share. In theory, some of those loopholes were understandable, but in practice they sometimes made it possible for millionaires to pay nothing, while a bus driver was paying ten percent of his salary, and that's crazy. Do you think the millionaire ought to pay more in taxes than the bus driver? Or less?"
-- President Ronald Reagan, June 1985
I'm trying to understand this.
Does the kid think Santa's part of the government, and somehow has raised taxes on rich people, and is buying toys? But then they wouldn't be "free" toys, would they? Or does he mean "gifts" when he says "free toys"? If so, does Tinsley dislike the concept of gifts? Do they smack of communism to him?
Doesn't Tinsley realize that "Santa" is a conservative's dream? He employs non-union labor, pays no taxes, has no government agency looking over his shoulder- and yet, he's universally beloved! He's even divided people into two camps- only one of which is deserving of stuff. Of course, he says "naughty and nice" instead of "liberal and conservative," but we know what he means.
1) Random Fox News talking point.
2) Something about Santa Claus because it'll be Christmastime when this sees print.
3) Paycheck!!!
It must be nice not having to work for a living.
What "free stuff" is he talking about?
I've been paying into social security and medicare for years, and they keep raising the eligibility age.
Anyway, the war in Iraq was never paid for, and the Republicans have the responsibility to pay for the entire cost, including the accumulated debt. Call it the Bush War Tax.
