Bruce Tinsley doesn't know anything about the European economic climate that isn't about Greece, and he doesn't know anything about Greece that wasn't on the sitcom "Perfect Strangers".
Basically, Greece is Teabaggistani for "bad", as in "America will look like Greece". Never mind that the unrest in Greece is provoked by the same government austerity that's being imposed on us by Eric Cantor and company.
Anyway, I've been to Greece. Looking like that would be pretty sweet.
Come to think of it, I think this was intended to be a ripoff of the awesome Inception parody with the shepherd on South Park. Tinsley, however, never uses electricity, mechanical devices or tries a work that is not the Bible, so knows nothing about those things.
Mainly, today's entry reminds me that even though it's been on hiatus for more than a year, Jon Rosenberg's webcomic "Goats" is still a better and more timely strip than "Mallard Fillmore".

The Euro is currently stronger then the dollar. That took me 15 seconds to research.
This is coming from the wing that brought you "Take A Chicken To The Doctor."
What a load of goat derivatives.
At least Brews hasn't run a series of strips on Europeans eating dogs.
Of course, the week is young.
Having proudly demonstrated that he's totally out of his depth when addressing the American economy, Brucie has now moved on to that of Europe.
So, you know, good luck with that.

This is Mallard Fillmore's Labor Day strip?
It figures. People who work for a living are nothing to him, prolly cuz they make him look bad.
Tinsley considers guys who are different to be goatherds. I cannot think of a better metaphor for this shitty comic strip.

Its is the possessive.
