That damned Question

What's Mallard raving about today?

Presidential Debate, Libya

President Obama should have said something more like this:
The United States condemns, in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. We’re working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats. I’ve also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people. Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts.

I do not recall any such apology. But the wronging policy has been to repeat lies frequently enough that some people will think it is true.

Intended word was wrong-wing, synonymous with Republicans, GOP, Fox, etc.

Hey, Bruce -- wake me when you find a new talking point from three weeks ago.

1865: Zachariah Tinsley continues to publish anti-Lincoln cartoons for three weeks after the assassination, then suddenly begins a week of honoring the Army of the Republic.

...so, kip, will that internets be carry-out or delivery? :)

initial WV: 2 rystye, as in "after finishing off his 'research', Tinsley has two rye-styes, one in each eye."
