What's Mallard raving about today?
Speech, Congress, Schools
Careful, Mallard...the 1% do not like to be challenged by their water carriers.

That damned Speech
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, 10th Graders
Making fun of 10th graders for the way they speak puts Mallard Fillmore at about a 4th grade level...and that's being generous.
(Oh, and, Mallard...according to the study your beloved Republicans speak about a half grade level worse than Democrats. Just saying.)

That damned Mammoth
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, Taxes, Wooly Mammoths
Based on the fact that it will be the only Wooly Mammoth in existence, it will be part of the 1% so Congress will give it a tax break, is what I think you mean.
In other news...Mallard Fillmore decided he needs a significant raise in 2012. Unable to increase his income, he reduces the hours he spends "working" so his hourly rate goes up. The quality of his strip decreases, but only slightly, since there really wasn't much room to get worse in the first place.

That damned Committee
What's Mallard raving about today?
The Super Committee
Thought we probably don't agree on the reasons, the stupidity of the Super Committee is at least one place where Mallard an I can agree.

That damned Santa
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, Santa, The Economy.
Four days ago, Mallard ranted about how commercialization of "the Holidays" was destroying our connection to the Christian aspects of Christmas.
Then for the next three days, Mallard employed Santa Claus, a symbol of both commercialization and secularization of Christmas, as a foil for his petty rants.
I don't know how Mallard can stand being in his own head.

Those damned Earmarks
What's Mallard raving about today?
Earmarks.
Earmarks is the outrage du jour.
Anyone want to bet how often Mallard rages about it during the two upcoming years during which Republicans control the House?

That damned Taxpayer
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, Taxpayers.
Remember when we all thought Islamophia=Lactose Intolerance was a horrible metaphor?
Well today, Congress are cannibals because, um, because...well, see taxpayers pay taxes and Constitutionally Congress dictates how that is spent, so, um...it's totally like Congress are eating people...the American taxpayers to be precise.
It's in Revelations, people!

That damned memory
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, Speaker Pelosi, November.
At first I thought the guy holding the "Never Forget" sign had wandered into the wrong rally. But then I realized that Teabaggers probably do have difficulty remembering Election Day.
Once you realize that, the remainder of the signs start to make more sense as well. This is not a rally of outrage, but a rally to remind them when to go to the polls.

That damned Trend
What's Mallard Fillmore raving about today?
Vampires, Congress.
Stoop?
Mallard, hate to tell you this, but you'd have to look up to see cheap adolescent trends.

That damned Letter
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress.
As we've discussed previously, the suggestion that Americans did not want Health Care Reform is either willfully ignorant or monumentally stupid.
Either is possible in Mallard's case, I understand. Just pointing it out.

Those damned subtitles
What's Mallard raving about today?
Progressives, Congress.
So the actual report is dead silence? Or just the standard dog whistle politics of the Right Wing?
In any event, presumably all of the Republicans who took us from a $200M surplus when they came into power to a $12 trillion deficit on the day President Obama entered office will be first in line.

Those damned Carp
What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, The Media, Carp.
Much like Mallard's "Enemies List" this notion of Media concern with backlash against Terrorists is simply a figment of Mallard's hate-addled/Beck-fueled imagination.
If anything, the Media are responsible for exaggeration and over-simplification which lead to needless fear.
On the plus side, Carp=Terrorists may just appear in next year's Golden Ellipses.

That damned News
What's Mallard raving about today?
Unemployment, Congress.
The even better news...asshat Republican Senator Jim Bunning is no longer screwing the unemployed over.
