What's Mallard raving about today?
Congress, Taxpayers.
Remember when we all thought Islamophia=Lactose Intolerance was a horrible metaphor?
Well today, Congress are cannibals because, um, because...well, see taxpayers pay taxes and Constitutionally Congress dictates how that is spent, so, um...it's totally like Congress are eating people...the American taxpayers to be precise.
It's in Revelations, people!

In the final analysis, isn't there a place Batshit can just go, where there aren't taxes?
He would never go willingly, of course. I'm just asking.
i still think going from lactose Intolerance to lack toes intolerance is a better joke.
Dollars to donuts, this does not signal the end of Lactosegate. I think Sunday strips are typically submitted even before the dailies.
Oh, and lol at "Revelations."
But if you eat us, we stop paying money!
His cannibalistic congresspeople can't think ahead.
Or this makes no sense and trying to make it fit earth logic will make my head explode so I'm going to go look at my dog.
I'm pretty sure this is a reference to an old antacid commercial, though I can't recall the exact product at the moment. For example, someone would say, "I like pizza--" then belch and follow with "but it doesn't like me." Doesn't make it any funnier.
I'm one of the 95% of Americans who got a taxcut, thanks to the leadership of the Obama Administration.
Personally, I think tax cuts in time of war and huge deficits are irresponsible. But then, I'm a grown-up and good at math.
As for today's "comic" ... accepting the immature and irresponsible premise that Congress is hurting taxpayers ... the 1st word balloon does nothing except bury the "humor"; it's typical Tinshley overstuffed "writing". And the artwork is nothing. The waste of a Sunday space on this is funnier than the punch line.
May I suggest any number of beautiful and exotic third world nations, where the centralized government is either too weak or non-existent to levy taxes. Think of the opportunity!
Oh, scary big bad gubmint is going to eat me! SCARY!
"Ooops! Forgot to make a joke!"
@MartyRotten-
Unfortunately, Tinsley does think that he made a joke.
Larry, there's a 1940s Charles Addams cartoon with a cannibal saying, "Oh, I like missionary all right, but missionary doesn't like me."
Not to be nit-picky (OK, I am being nit-picky), it's "Revelation", not "Revelations".
As for the strip... WTF? Just to pick one stupidity on display, if "taxpayer doesn't like" the Congressperson, why has s/he been elected?
