I like the way Mallard casually throws "learn English" in there. Like all legal immigrants are fluent in English and difficulty with English is only a mark of illegal immigration.

I was recently reading a book on the Great Depression and one of the things that struck me most about it is that the same immigrant-bashing was going on then, only it was the Italians and the Irish at the time.

All of which is to say: this isn't about immigration, Mallard. It's thinly (very thinly) veiled hatred of "the Other."

And yet, Republicans still can't keep themselves from screaming Build a Wall! Build a Bigger Wall! Build an Electric Fence!

So if that's not motivated by illegal immigration which has slowed due to economic factors, what is behind it, Mallard?

One the one hand, I ask myself the question: what time of mind it takes to get this upset over absolutely nothing?

On the other hand, the insult "politically correct toadying elitist left wing flacks" indicates that I'm dealing with someone who never got beyond a petty middle school bully's mentality.

So, I guess what I am saying is...got my answer.

Mallard's head is going to explode in a couple of weeks when he gets to today's ruling. I expect to see blood pouring from his ears this time 2 weeks from now.

But no matter how high Mallard decides to make this go, it doesn't change the fact that majority support does not actually mean something is right.

Having been saddled with two wars, Mallard Fillmore simply can't believe President Obama hasn't yet found time to invade a third, possible even a fourth country. Because that would have been awesome!

Republicans spent eight years driving the country into a ditch. They then spent the next two years lashing out with overt and covert racism toward immigrants, blacks, and Muslims.

And it's President Obama who is ruining the country.
