I was going to say something about how, four years ago, we were losing 700,000 jobs a month and the stock market and housing markers were crashing; now jobs and the markets are all up (and bin Ladn is dead) so yeah we are all better off.
Then I realized ... I am 4 years closer to death. Wah! SAVE ME MITT ROMNEY!!!!!!
Yeah, but the outlook sucks, because there's a chance Romney will get in there and burn off whatever advances have been made, and then in the remaining three and a half years, he'll be hanging it all on Obama, because suddenly it'll be okay to blame previous administrations again. And the press will back him up on it, because they always do.
