That damned Unemployment

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama, Unemployment

Mark down Wednesday, October 17, 2012.

This is the one day all year on which Mallard Fillmore told an actual joke.

Look, I got nothing against Tinsley, I just wish he were more like me, sober.

Didn't Willard Rmoney once describe himself as unemployed? I'm sure Brews' white-guy Everyman finds him eminently relatable.

What a difference a change in the president's party makes, eh? If anyone had said this publicly about Bushbaby at this point in his first term, Bruce's cartoon alter ego would have savaged that person as an America-hating, terrorist-loving commie traitor, because criticizing the president during a time of war is tantamount to treason, don'tcha know.

By the way, remember the "logic" employed (no pun) by right-wingers like Bruce to explain why Bushbaby should be re-elected -- namely, that it's a terrible idea to change presidents in the middle of a crisis? 'Cause the right-wingers sure don't seem to remember it.
