What's Mallard raving about today?
Phones.
Seriously, a whole Sunday panel devoted to being annoyed about inadvertent phone calls? When is someone going to wake up and realize the only thing Mallard Fillmore offers a counterpoint to is intelligent discourse and stop providing him with space to vent his spleen.

Gee, repeat yourself much, Tinshley?

It's the joke that was so not funny, Tinsley couldn't stop telling it!
The only way one could take this as true is if someone,somewhere has mallard on speed dial,Which is highly unlikely.
I'm guessing Tinsley's butt-cartooning again.
Holy Department of Redundancy Department, it's deja vu all over again. He's plagiarizing himself. Like these strips take any effort the first time he rubs one of them out...Hey, if he can repeat himself, so can I. Is this his New Direction, All-Reruns Sundays?
So, Chet is singing while standing in line at Starbucks while loudly proclaiming "Yeah, that's where it itches!" apparently just randomly scratching himself? Is he also on a unicycle and juggling chainsaws? Does Bruce know how human beings act?
The theme song to SpongeBob SquarePants only contains the lyrics "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?" once. Mallard just stayed on butt dial for a full episode of SpongeBob. Is this as close to social contact as he gets? I realize he has no friends, but this? This is just sad.
Perhaps someone should make Tinshley aware that recycling is one o' them liburl eleetist things. That should stop him from doing it.
WV: dismede - I was quite dismede to see this comic recycled so soon.
@Gold-Digging Nanny,
I actually think that's Mallard's ringtone, which is kind of creepy if you think about it.
@Steve-O,
I'm pretty sure Bruce's ringtone is the Reverend Moon saying "Here's your weekly paycheck for doing nothing!" followed by "KA-CHING!" followed by the guy at the liquor store saying "That'll be $195, please. See you in a week!"
In reality, you can prevent "butt-calling" by engaging the keyboard lockout, which is a basic feature in every cellphone I've every owned. Most people don't use it, because the inconvenience of unlocking the phone is much greater than the rare embarassment of a "butt-call".
So today's comic is not only a lazy repeat, but stupid.
Meanwhile, also in reality:
* Walker is Koch's Poodle for his demand that he be given the power to sell power plants to anyone, at any price or no price, with no bidding
* Accross our nation, "Union Thugs" are putting in unpaid overtime grading student papers and preparing for parent-teacher conferences
* Republicans are trying to disenfranchise servicemember.
All of these could give rise to a cartoon by an actual conservative, in support of teachers and servicemembers, but not by Tinshley.
There's an insanely easy, non-technological solution to "butt-calling": Don't carry your cell phone in your back pocket!
And I just put more effort into solving that problem than Brucie puts into scribbling a week's worth of strips.
I think Tinsley just enjoys the opportunity to have the word "butt" writ large upon the comic pages by his hand. It appeals to his grade-school sense of humor.
