Gee, Mallard--I thought you were all about the "cutting tax rates increases government revenue" fantasy!
Now you want some bizarre, byzantine government conspiracy--in the form of some sounds-too-good-to-be-true tax plan--to reduce the average White Guy to wearing a barrel (as illustrated by your very own strip)?
What is your deal, you treacherous liberal hippie commie-rat?
(I know, I know--I'm just subjecting him to his own game. Happy Holidays!)
Flat taxation doesn't take into account relative percentages. Suppose I make $30,000 a year and some other guy makes $3,000,000 a year, and we're taxed at a flat rate of 33%. That $10,000 means a hell of a lot more to me than the $1,000,000 means to the second guy, because at the end of the day he's still super rich and I'm choosing between electricity and health insurance.
Anonymous, you may be right! Seems like talking about wrecking (rather than repairing) the current tax system really unleashes Teh Gay in otherwise virulently hetero manly-mens.
To explain "all never is dumber" and the entire post, really, just take the first letter of each word. Try making a sentence out of that; it ain't easy!

How dare they make the rich pay a higher tax rate? What did the poor ever do to get off easy?
Boo hoo. THEY'RE STILL RICH. NOBODY'S BEING TAXED INTO POVERTY. WHAT'S SO HARD TO GET ABOUT THIS?

By Rove's ugly corpse! Every time, I notice stupidity! Lets everyone yell. I say, all never is dumber in other times.
all never is dumber in other times
I have no idea what that phrase means, but I started chanting it to myself, and now I have the power to levitate. Thanks John!
The Fair Tax plan would be BETTER than what we have now? Um... yeah... right... regressive taxes are so much better for Joe Average. *rolls eyes*

Have any of you priced a wooden barrel recently? Yikes! If his "ordinary guy" can afford to wear one he must be in an upper tax bracket.
This is just an excuse for bruce to draw a naked guy.
