Those damned Elitists

What's Mallard raving about today?

NPR

Isn't that cute...the Billionaire's Lap Dog is accusing NPR of being Elitist!

Scott Walker enrages an overwhelming public majority with his illegal union-busting tactics; Tinsley sees predestined presidential material*.

Oh, but it's NPR that's elitist! Why? Because someone connected to it pointed out that teabaggers are virulently racist (true) and that NPR would be better off not becoming a cog in the FOXLies media monopoly (also quite true).

*...Which still makes me giggle. Your masters better have a flawless vote-rigging scheme in mind, Tinsley. Otherwise, the next elections are going to make the Obama landslide look like a tight race.

Wow, did Joe Scarborough help write this strip? He's always yammering on about "middle America" as if that's the only area of the country that matters.

Also, how did "elitist" become some kind of insult? Isn't being elite a good thing?

wv: dicsiant, what is sprayed to repel Tinsley.

Hey, duck! If you can spell NPR, thank a teacher!

Tin's persistent delusion that the rightmost and bottom fringes of society must be the "middle" are especially ironic, given that his corporate masters are out to eliminate the middle class just as surely as every argument he makes excludes a middle.

If a duck had ears, I'd say the excluded middle was between them.

You use that word a lot. I don't think it means what you think it means.

Like the last elections?

Anonyrast has not seen the polls showing that nobody likes any of the Republican candidates, and that the tea party's honeymoon is officially over. He was probably off looking at the kids' underwear pages in old JC Penny catalogs instead.

@dlauthor --

Or he knows more about how Diebold voting machines "work" than we might otherwise assume.

It doesn't really matter who likes (or even votes) for whom, as long as the equipment "counting" the votes is manufactured by a major Rethug contributor. Just remember Ohio 2004.

WV: farti. Really.

A little off topic, but more on Tinsley's wet dream Michelle Rhee:

Oh, Anonymous, you have no idea, do you?

No, of course not. That's what makes you a teabagger.

Wow, only 24 hours ago I predicted that after yesterday's strip, it was only days before he scrawled one that was all "Educated people are elitists!"

I stand corrected, Bruce! It took you not days, only hours.

Here's my next sure-fire prediction: within days, he barfs up one that makes sense only to him, and then only if he's drunk.

Man, is that a safe bet!

NPR's Car Talk - oh yeah, that's real elitest (* rolls eyes *)

Thinking NPR is elitist says more about you then NPR.

For the Duck & Cover regulars. Poll: Obama's approval hits new low

I see the "sicko" is still here, the one who believes all black/brown people are good and do not wish any harm to anyone, like 9/11.

With Obama's help Egypt will soon be ruled by the Muslim Brotherhood and it appears certain he wants al-Qaeda in control of Libya.

NPR has lost all credibility. Executive Ron Schiller was the first to go when he was caught on video disparaging conservatives, the tea party movement, and former NPR political analyst Juan Williams.

The next day the NPR chief executive officer Vivian Schiller was fired. NPR a publicly-funded entity, run by liberals, and purporting to be a "news organization."

Gee, Tinshley-fellating pederasts with conveniently rhyming names posting within six minutes of each other. What's the matter NickyRicky? Did your cable go out before you got done fapping to Sprout TV, and you had to sprout an assonant sock-puppet to agree with you here so you could get your rocks off?

"When one bad poll for Obama = Big News" - Quinnipiac is a chronic, Rethug-leaning outlier. Typical that Melonfucker would take a break from rounding up Dominican rent-boys for his lard-assed idol to post such misleading propaganda.

I drive my Volvo home and in a little while I turn the radio on.
I make my way upstairs and in a little while I turn the radio on.

And I listen to NPR to calm myself -
Make a list of pertinent things to think about.

You light the fire, I'll light the stove
In the middle of the radio show
We're all alone at Miller Time
While the kids are playing

My life is hard, but not -
Half as hard - as hard as college was.
Still, one can't help thinking what all my time of
College chaos was

And I listen to NPR to calm myself -
Make a list of pertinent things to think about.

You light the fire, I'll light the stove
Should let those movies show

We're all alone at dinnertime
While NPR's playing

Li'l Nicky: "I see the 'sicko' is still here, the one who believes all black/brown people are good and do not wish any harm to anyone, like 9/11."

I'm sure that outburst makes sense to you--in the same way that the voices inside your head commanding you to urinate in bed and cut yourself are perfectly normal--but please help us out: are you advocating the idea that all "black-slash-brown people" are EVIL, and DO wish harm to everyone?

DiR said...

Clearly, RickyNIcky doesn't actually listen to NPR.
Also, lemme know when Obama is at or below 20% for a year and a half, slappy.

Kip W said...

Oh, Nicky, you're so fine,
You're so fine, you blew your line
Hey Nicky! Hey Ricky!

Oh, Ricky, you're so fine,
Every post a vintage whine
Hey Ricky! Hey Nicky!

Oh, Nicky, you're the one the wingnuts love the most!
You really earn that fifty cents for every time you post.
Oh, Ricky, you're the name they use for Nicky's ghost.
So here's to you, Ricky...!

I just want to acknowledge that Kip's post here is pure gold.
