What's Mallard raving about today?
Baby Boomers, self-absorption.
If one is capable of being inconsistently self-absorbed then, by definition, one is not actually self-absorbed.
Besides it's a bit ironic to call others self-absorbed when Mallard devoted a day to his favorite college football team's bowl result in the apparent belief that anyone else gives a damn.

Another trend I've heard of, just via word of mouth, is that children consistently read books for and about children. Jerks.
Note that Mallard is complaing about this in a comic strip that's by, for, and about right-wingers.
It's possible that Tinsley is just pissed because Baby Boomers can read.
At least the artwork is stunning.
Hey Bruce- It's called a DEMOGRAPHIC.
Tinsley has taken a break from straw man arguments to give us Blindingly Obvious Week. People tend to believe what they see on the news. C-list celebrities often end up on reality shows. People like to read books they can relate to. I'm learning so much!
Maybe tomorrow we will be informed that liberals like to vote for Democrats.
The irony is that Tinshley was spawned in 1958, which puts him (by most reckonings I'm aware of) at the tail end of the Baby Boom himself. (He's certainly not an Xer like me, as Wikipedia defines that demographic as starting in 1963.)
