That damned comedy

What's Mallard raving about today?

Diversity, Comedy.

Mallard is really grasping at straws in an attempt to rave against diversity...

To be honest, I wouldn't be at all worried, since losing a stand-up comedy genre seems like a small price to pay for tolerance and, you know, loving one's neighbor.

But the fact that the word "DOOM" is bolded and capitalized, makes me realize this is a VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM.

Judging by what the comedian says at the end, I'm starting to wonder what Tinsley does in his free time. And I really wish I could stop.

Does anyone besides me think that Mallard told a really racist joke recently and was treated with silent contempt?

Yep, doomed. Wouldn't want our comedians to actually put effort, creativity, and intelligence into their routines, now would we?

I sympathize with bruce. I think we've all been in that situation.

...Annnnnd Bruce "Wide Stance Theory Non-Skeptic" Tinsley surges to the defense of yet another weirdo doing perverse things in a public bathroom.

Birds of a feather, and all that.

Okay so I've said this before but what the fuck? How can a human being's brain possibly work this way?

Really? Tinsley wants to focus on weird bathroom-stall behavior?

Really?

You know, I think I recognize the face of that comic...

What the hell is he even talking about with this one? Diversity means comedians will peek into women's bathrooms? He's crazier and more twisted than I could even imagine.

What person would find this comic funny? And why? And what planet would they be on?

Am I the only one who got a whiff of homophobia from this?

Anybody in a bathroom stall would be pissed if somebody barged in - common experience!

But I thought Seinfeld's acts did apply to most people - no matter what lifestyle they had - because everyone has to eat, use rubber bands, tie their shoes, whatever.

I think the point of the bathroom joke is that that will be representative of the type of jokes comedians will have to tell since evil liberals will require things like gay marriage, equal rights, penalties for hate speech, and ban lynchings and witch burnings. Without the acceptability to pick on one particular social group and share a "we're not black/mexican/female/gay/crossdresser/muslim/wiccan/pagan/jewish/atheist" gaffaw, the comedy gold will just look like the pyrite it is. And the jokes will naturally be as lame as what Bruce came up because he's a comic genius.

O.K., I know I've almost sort-of defended him in the past, but this has gotten to the point where he's just crying out for help! He needs to get off the bottle or off the toilet seat or whatever! He is now literally generating page after page of crap. Not even Rush or Sean Hannity could enjoy this swill!
