Now we know why the Republican Party had such a dismally bad set of candidates: all the good ones were not used to flying, not married to a rich heiress, or afraid of clowns.
One should also remember that prospective candidates have to deal with unpleasant attacks from the media. Often in cartoon form. I mean, I wouldn't want to find out that something I said in passing was being made into a straw man by a picture of a duck.
Ha! This one wasn't too bad, you say? Well, he more than makes up for that with today's strip, in which he vehemently confirms himself as a first-class shithead Yech.
McCain was on SNL. Clinton was on SNL. I don't remember Obama being on SNL, but he probably was.
I just don't find it an amusing cartoon even though I know it's true. Candidates are just trying to reach the generation that doesn't listen to rant-radio and prefers comedy, and it ticks Bruce and ilk off.

When I saw this, I kept looking for something typical of Tinz, but only the drawings are his.
Ghostwriter, maybe?

Brilliant.
Sums up quite a bit.
Celia - you win today. This is the first MF strip in a long time that hasn't made me angry. Thanks?
