That damned Apathy

What's Mallard raving about today?

Voting

And what's the best solution for voter apathy? If you are a Republican, apparently the answer is restricting voting hours because...you know...stuff.

And, no, it does not have anything to do with reducing the opportunity for voters who might not vote Republican, how dare you suggest that. The fact that voting hours are being restricted only in areas with high concentrations of minorities is just happenstance.

Plus, way to give people a break, not a lecture, Mallard.

Okay?

Anywho, did that site always have comments? I noticed them recently. Looks like one guy who needs to post a few times every day. Not super keen on the finer points of tax policy, or even how the federal government works.

First he complains that he doesn't want people to vote if they're too apathetic to make the effort; now he's complaining about voter apathy, suggesting that he does want those apathetic people to vote.

Clearly, it's too much to expect Mallard/Brucie to pick a train of thought and stick with it.

How come voters are so apathetic, when Il Duck gives of his time daily to remind them how stupid they are and how little their vote counts?

Be sure and remind your public to vote on the first Wednesday in November, Mallard. They'll listen to you.

So Mallard Fillmore thinks people who are popular shouldn't tell others to vote, on the day after he himself tells people to vote.

No-one will ever mistake Mallard Fillmore for a popular person.
