Um, I don't think that's been said before. I think the general consensus is that the non-political strips, when read over long periods of time, can lead to thoughts of suicide.
in my experience, heart-warming religious pass it on spam comes only from GOP Mallard fans. So, he's gutsy - attacking his core readership.
(BAD THOUGHTS DIVISION: are the gullible sheep component of the American Right so demoralized now that WE are his new core readership? Has anyone ever documented someone so lame that parody readership was the only following left? would this get me a research grant?)

Hey! He's right! I've never thought of it, but spam IS kind of annoying!

Perhaps he could have made his point even clearer if he made some kind of rhyme about it.
