Those damned shuffleboarders

What's Mallard raving about today?

Shuffleboard, Bingo.

You know, for a duck who has spent the last 2-3 weeks complaining about TV, Mallard knows an awful lot about it. More than, say, your average blog writer who was unaware there was a TV show about Bingo.

Hey, it's a good thing. The more television Tinshley watches, the less he's behind the wheel.

What the hell? What does the bug have to do with anything? And are those old folks contestants? If they are, why does the show consist of everyman contestants and washed up celebrity contestants?

Made this point earlier, but it's ever more obvious with each new strip: How long's it been now since Mallard made one of his trademark attacks on Bush bashers or Iraq war doubters or...etc, etc? Lately, it all seems to be about TV or PC perfessers or those wacky celebs.

Looks to me like this particular ratduck is scuttling off the S. S. Dubya as fast as his little webbed claws will take him.

Hee hee hee.

Um, the old people can't be contestants, since they are talking about the contestants on TV. This leaves us with the possibility that they are in Mallard's house (!?) or that Tinshley has added angry senior citizens to his repertory of feverish hallucinations.

I still seriously don't it. Are the old people contestants, or are they just playing along at home?

I guess part of the actual Bingo show is that people also play at home? Not sure about the details. I'm certainly not as obsessed with crappy shows as Turdsley is.
