That damned cereal

What's Mallard raving about today?

Cereal, Barack Obama

If Hope 'N Change is a reference Barack Obama, then Fruit 'n Fiber must be a reference to John McCain who is old and...fruity, I guess.

By the way, apparently coming up with 5 fake cereal names was too much effort, so Mallard stopped at 3.

I hope that this is all he talks about until November. We've all seen that political jokes are far better than the alternative (read: disturbing self-revelations) when it comes to Mallard.

I think we're past the 'who is this.. Beerack Obooma guy?' stage ,aren't we?

Nope, wait... The right-wing has nothing else except to close their ears and pretend the Democratic candidate for President is some kind of 'unknown unknown'.

Of course, "Hope and Change" is all Obama ever says, as opposed to McCain, who is all about "Fear the Terrorists!"

Seriously, yesterday McCain was asked what was the greatest threat to our economy, and he answered (after a dramatic pause of ten seconds) " . . .the struggle that we're in against Islamic extremism, which can affect, if they prevail, our very existence." Now, Islamic terrorists do have the ability to fuck some shit up, but there is no way in hell that a bunch of Medieval thinkers living a Medieval lifestyle are going to affect our very existence. The Republicans have been trying unsuccessfully to do that for years.

Obama better fire his web crew, because they've wasted all sorts of money creating all sorts of off-message web pages talking about "Issues" like "Foreign Policy", "Energy and Environment", and "Technology". What the hell does that stuff have to do with "Hope and Change"?

At least we're saved from 6 months of poorly drawn cartoons about Hillary. How's that for saying the glass is half full?

Bruce Tinsley nailed it today..."Who's got time to read the ingredients? Let's just buy it"!
Exactly what the Liberals have done. Obama has no experience but an answer for every problem that exists. If the liberals would think about what Obama is saying, they would understand that what he promises he cannot possibly deliver.
You want change, well if he is elected you will get change. I do not think you will receive what you expect. The liberals along with the drive-by media continue to lap up everything he says and continue to cover for him. Can't call him by his full name, B.Hussein Obama or mention his racist wife or minister or his "typical" White person grandmother. Don't question his friendship with known terrorists etc. If you do, you are racist...

Tinny? Is that you?

Can't call him by his full name, B.Hussein Obama...

Full name? Pretty sure his first name isn't "B."

I do believe the closeness of the democratic candidate race means that in actuality, people were NOT blindly buying what Obama said. One could say that they were blindly buying what Hillary said, but nevertheless, it isn't all 100% gah-gah support for Obama.

Nice of you to stop by, anon. However, I've known conservatives with far more persuasive, intelligent, compelling, and logical arguments, so please, don't embarass them. You've just blindly spit out the same bile we've heard over and over. By the way, you forgot the following:

"Babies are punishment" and
"Obama wore a turban" and
"Obama doesn't put his hand over his heart for the pledge of allegiance" and
"Obama is a muslim"

As for the media lapping it up, that's a lovely whopper. Obviously, you feel that Obama is other than a knight in shining armor who has come to save us all, and I'm willing to bet you did not come to that conclusion from being his personal friend. I know, it's difficult to be a victim these days. All this internet, blogs, television, talk shows, all these people getting their views out and published regardless of how factual or not they are, why, the persecution must be AWFUL!

*snerk* Full name B. Hussein indeed.

I should add, it is the opinion of everyone here that refering to him by his full name is not racist, but instead an underhanded tactic to get the man associated with an evil dictator.

Middle names are rarely brought up, so it is questionable when one insists on doing so when the name is not coincidently the same name as someone infamous.

What's Hillary's middle name? John's?

Let's see, Obama has had little political experience in office but has done a lot of work in local communities, usually organization and activism. He's also shown at least some modicum of savvy in terms of analyzing positions as well as forming alliances. If he isn't knowledgeable I'd think he'd turn to experts. That being said, his wife never said 'whitey' his pastor is free to have his own views, just as we should remember that the Bush family has friends who are Saudis, among them the Bin Laden family...
