That damned Zoe

What's Mallard raving about today?

Zoe.

"Hi, I'm Zoe, I say whatever this duck wants me to say because it's the only way he can win arguments."

"Hi Zoe, welcome to Straw Men Anonymous"

I like the way Zoe advocates the cornerstones of liberal public policy: universal health care, committment to public education, and control over people's personal dietary choices.

Call your congressman today and urge passage of the Ban All Fatty Foods For a Slimmer, Healthier America Bill!

I guess M. Canard doesn't realize that for many folks, the choice is between health insurance and feeding the family.

Well dlauthor, this is just a standard application of "MF Rule of Cartooning #4":

"Any character that MF disagress with is to be drawn as physically repulsive as possible. The single exception are newcasters, etc, whose exaggerated good looks is the whole point of the 'joke'."

[While I'm here, does anyone have a pointer to the MF --from some time last fall, as I recall-- which was putdown of NOW and the punch line was, basically, that their opponents "At least look like women".]

Funny how Mallard and his ilk can be against health care for the least fortunate, against clean air and clean water, pro-war... and yet "pro-life."

Does Mallard really want this election to be fought over abortion?

To remind voters that the next president will appoint Supreme Court justices who will decide whether Roe v. Wade is overturned, and with it, the abortion issue returned to the states?

Please God, let it be so. Nothing would so surely guarantee a Democratic sweep of the White House, both houses of Congress, and most state capitols!

Mmm... strawmen, set them up, knock them down!

At the end of the day, you just prove that there is an idiot who thinks those things. An idiot on view in the mirror.
