Those damned Modes

What's Mallard raving about today?

Fish, Voters.

Day 2 of insane fish metaphors...

Meanwhile, in reality, the Teabaggers are blindly doing the bidding of their Corporate Masters, making sure no one takes away all the free fish the wealthy are already getting, all while dressing it up in "Populist" clothing. It's perverse in its audacity.

I suppose Mallard may be sort of right in that Teabaggers will "learn to fish" at the behest of their Corporate Masters, though their Corporate Masters will keep all the fish.

Tinsley, having established that all men who are slightly different are like bait to kill friendly fish, contradicts himself: He says that all of his enemies are the fish. These enemies see the Republican policies that will force everyone, no matter how weak, to fend for himself, and demand new policies. They are foolish animals, demanding civil rights that will lead to the destruction of, both, the inferior and Tinsley.

Batshit thinks a fish expressing a "socialist" preference to the obtaining and distribution of himself, for eating by humans, makes some sort of sense. Case closed, people.

"Mean-sprited?" Look, Batshit, I still remember that elitist prick Rush Limbaugh sitting on his bloated ass guffawing while he advised American children living in poverty to dumpster-dive.

So fuck you.

This is further evidence that Tinsley is an Objectivist: He hates the idea of someone being helped in any way, and demands that everyone be forced to fight for everything, and work towards a pure Aryan world where no one will have rights.

Teach a man to draw, and he can make a comic strip. Take one who can't draw, and you can pay him to scribble insane strips that don't make a lick o' sense.

Years ago, there were programs for unemployed people that would pay them enough to live on while they learned a new trade, e.g. "teach them to fish".

If "the voters" are in a mood to bring that sort of thing back, I'm fine with that. Somehow I doubt that's what Tinshley is trying to say, but it's a formula that worked for America in the past and Europe in the current era. You can't let people starve just because there is a job shortage - it's not only inhumane, it's bad for our nation.

Strange--the message I'm hearing from the wingers these days is "I've got mine; fuck all y'all motherfuckers." Maybe Tinsley could explain where he gets this lunatic notion that they're even remotely interested in giving anyone fishing lessons?

Ha ha--a little joke. Of COURSE he couldn't explain it. Because he's a deeply stupid person who has no goddamn idea what he's talking about.

It's only mean-spirited when they give it the underlying implication that the person who needs to learn how to fish has never fished in their life, wouldn't fish unless held at gunpoint due to some personality flaw, and should be grateful for minnows when they finally catch some because that's all they deserve, not being born male/rich/white/old/etc.

In honor of the fish strips, let's all give Tin Eye the ol' "Fish Cheer" from Woodstock!

GIMME AN F!

I guess this is the end of Fish Week, so we're back to the exciting adventures of Mallard in his Chair (and we know he'll be stuck to it for another six years at least). Loafers and fish for the multitudes.
