Given the fact that absolutely no one had Email Mallard by the time this strip came out, Mallard is a projecting a little sensitivity about being a complete liar and/or about water carrying for a pack of liars.

Just for funsies, I looked at the entire front page of Newsbusters, and even they've forgotten whatever it was, or else they retracted it after being shown how bogus it was. Mallard should have gone with original footnote, (*Because I just KNOW it!)
As DAveyK points out, today's "comic" is even more dishonest than usual. There wasn't time for someone to email a response to the earlier "comic" and then for Brusky to draw this response.
If Tinshley had waited a couple more weeks, it'd have been a plausible lie, but now it's just another lie. That's the "conservative viewpoint" ?
It's just a joke in a "comic" strip, come on!
