That damned Comparison

What's Mallard raving about today?

Voting, Marriage

Wait, voting for someone and marrying someone are somehow comparable? Seriously, Mallard? I mean, I thought it would be hard for me to downgrade my opinion of your intellectual capacity, but...may have to re-think that.

Speaking of marriage...Chris Kluwe, punter for the Minnestoa Vikings, is my new hero.

Tells me more about the relationship between Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Tinsley than I cared to know.

Somewhere a particularly dense teabagger just canceled his newspaper subscription because he thinks Mallard wants the gays to get married now.

Also, frankly, the "don't get to know the candidates" strategy is one of the only factors working in your side's favor, Bruce.

"Be sure and get married at your local gas station! And do it at some time or date when they're not open." Whoops! That's the pro-marriage message that was meant for the minority neighborhoods.

@ajm: It may prove my suspicion that they were married by True Father (may dogs grub up his bones) in one of his mass weddings and that the only reason Arlette doesn't leave Bruce is that she doesn't want to pollute her whole lineage forever.

@dlauthor: Also, frankly, the "don't get to know the candidates" strategy is one of the only factors working in your side's favor, Bruce. Will that internets be carry-out or delivery?

Aw, isn't that cute? Mallard is trying to use a metaphor.

So what kind of voting commercial would you approve, ducky? Maybe this one?

Frank, I would have left a comment at TPM, but they require Facebook. Seems kind of ironic — an article about having to show an ID in PA won't let you agree that it's an outrage without showing a de facto ID for fucking Facebook.

Did your candidate cheat on taxes by hiding money in a Swiss bank account, but escape penalties by taking the 2009 tax amnesty?

You don't know because he won't release his 2009 tax returns? Well, vote for Mitt anyway!
