That damned Geeknami

What's Mallard raving about today?

Disney

Mallard attempts a neologism. Not surprisingly, it fails.

The meaning of a competent neologism should be obvious upon seeing the word. This fails even that simple test.

"Hey, kids! Check out this hip new word I just came up with! All the cool kids are gonna be using it on the Twitter and the MySpace any day now! 'Cuz it's cool! And did I mention hip and new?! I DO TOO UNDERSTAND THE YOUNG PEOPLE!!!"

And let's not overlook the visual failure. What exactly is the "geeknami" supposed to be made of? Because it looks like just a bunch of random squiggles and curlicues.

Give it up, Mallard. You just look riduckulous.

"Don't tell — show. Um, Bruce, you can ignore that and just tell."

The Disney "Star Wars" announcement was in the news on the 30th of October. His timing is odd, as usual.

Not overtly hateful, just stupid.

Progress!

"Ha ha, stupid nerds!" says the cartoonist who spent an entire WEEK when Disney bought Marvel with "Hulk in a tutu."

Uh oh--today's the first day of the week...

Portmanteau fail, as well.

I don't think you -can- buy the rights to Doctor Who, since he's owned by the BBC.
