I think it's supposed to be a security portal/metal detector/whatever they're called now.
It certainly doesn't look like anything I've seen at any airport. And I work at one of the big ones.
But, y'know, Tinny's the guy who drew dogs' legs on backwards for the Michael Vick strips. Nothing he draws looks right anymore. I wouldn't be surprised to learn his technique for drawing Mallard is to try to draw a pine cone.
It's probably something Tinsley sketched while he was waiting in line at the airport. Therefore it doesn't look like anything anyone else has ever seen.

Okay, Tinsley gets stuck on an airport runway once, and we get a weeks worth of this crap. I pray to God that Tinsley doesn't get a divorce.
