What's Mallard raving about today?
Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, The Media, Barack Obama.
Bill Clinton's infidelity is always funny! Plus, it looks like someone dropped a heavy weight on Hillary's head. Plus, the Media have always treated Hillary Clinton like their lover. Plus, the media is now in love with John McCain...uh, I mean Barack Obama.
Wait a second...this panel makes no sense at all.

I remember something about a promise to use photos, Tinny? It would reduce your suck factor quite a bit...
Ok, let's get this straight. It was a BLOW JOB. He didn't go out and find someone younger and cuter and promise her eternal love. It was sleazy and demeaning and turned out to be highly embarrassing for everyone when it was made public, but it didn't have anything to do with love, eternal or otherwise.
Also, if Tinsley thinks that the press has ever promised Hillary its eternal love, he has spent the last couple decades further into that bottle of Jack Daniels than I would have imagined possible. Does he remember ANYTHING about the Clinton years? For him to reference Monica Lewinsky, the press, and love for Hillary in the same panel is simply mind-blowing.
Has he ever drawn any Hillary caricature the same twice?
Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if Tinshley thinks a blow job automatically means eternal love. It'd jibe with every other stunted-adolescent aspect of his personality.
Of course, he also probably hasn't felt any "love" in about 30 years. If ever.
Tinsley's Hillary Clinton still sucks, but not as much as past ones, so I think he may be improving (not had so much to drink today, etc). Anyway, I find this preoccupation, all these years later, with Bill Clinton's extra-marital affairs to be a little distasteful. One gets the impression that these people work themselves up into a frenzy in public, then go away somewhere private and...well.
Wait, that's not Hillary in the drawing, it looks more like Strom Thurman towards the end of his career. Who knew 'bout him and Bill?
Wait ... the same media that turned Flag Pins and Rev Wright into issues more important that Iraq and the economy ... is actually in love with Obama?
This must be a kind of love found only in cheap bondage flicks. What it says about Tinsley I don't wanna know.
ow.
That "drawing" hurts my brain. And my eyes.

When is it a surprise that one of Tinny's panels doesn't make any sense?
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? Since when has the media ever shown a great love for Hillary Clinton? I read a great article a while back on media coverage of female presidential candidates throughout America's history, and completely agreed with the author's point -- the media's focus, early on, on a cleavage-baring outfit she wore once and that time she almost cried, were marginalizing tactics that showed no real love for her. I heard a good comment on NPR long before the whole Jeremiah Wright business, something to the effect that if he seems to be getting a free pass, it's because the media doesn't really know him yet. This is not to say that the media really knows Clinton or McCain, the commenter was quick to point out -- they just think they do. The media started making up its mind really quick after Wright and Bittergate, as evidenced by the picture of arugula on the cover of my last issue of Newsweek. Any flip-flop in media love has gone exactly the opposite of how Tinny depicted it in this strip.
I respectfully disagree with Celia -- this is one of the worst Hillary caricatures I've seen Tinsley do. (I agree with the rest of your comment, though. It's really weird how obsessed the Right remains about Monica and Bill years later.)
