Yep, it would be really wasteful to, you know, help the economy recover and all that.

Apparently, Mallard's audience consists entirely of people making over $250,000 a year (about 5% of the population).
Good to know. I always wondered what the income requirements were for arguing with the trolls. In Mallardverse, it cannot be less than 250,000 since those people will receive tax cuts and therefore cannot exist.
Another day, another straw man. I WISH Obama would say the era of tax cuts were over, but he has not and will not, mainly because there are still a few people for whom that would be a red flag. But does this deter our intrepid comix artiste? It most certainly does not. Through the magic of Bullshit, he is able to put those words into the President's mouth, as if he had actually said them, thereby creating today's case for moral outrage. Brilliant.
The punch line in third balloon is basically equivalent to "I know you are, but what am I?"
Reminder that just this week Tinsley drew a cartoon decrying the laziness of federal employees. With that in mind, look at today's drawing...then look at yesterday's drawing.

Did somebody say "wasteful spending" without mentioning me? I'm hurt. Truly hurt.

Hmmm. The drunken kahtoonista who claims federal employees are lazy gives us essentially the same piece of duck porn two days in a row.
Meanwhile, bare-ass Blallard hasn't even changed his jammy top.
I'd get a drink if I didn't already have a headache.
In other words -- what Kyle said.
In DTworld, a repairing a bridge for rural Missourians (who almost certainly voted against Obama) ... is "waste".
Please, Tinkley, keep it up!
(And don't complain that this is basically the same as what I posted yesterday. If Tinkley isn't going to bother, why should I?)
