That damned Tip

What's Mallard raving about today?

Taxes.

I think you may be confusing taxes with something else, Mallard.

Why does Mallard think we'll feel that way two days before tax day?

Way to stay informed, Ducko. (Though maybe he's trying to keep this strip "timeless.")

Looks like Mr. Self-Employed "forgot" to do quarterly estimated taxes again this year, and now he's trying to figure out how to deduct $38,000 in gin as work-related research before he gets dinged for his share of the social contract.

Someone needs to tell Mr. Smartass Duck that Tax Day this year is April 18, because the 15th is a Friday.

Then again, that would presume that he actually cared about things like facts and reality, and we all know that he doesn't.

Actually, Mr. Tinsley more accurately describes how I feel the day after election day (being a resident of a largely Republican district).

As a dedicated liberal, I not only rejoice paying my taxes, but I add in a few thousand extra every year, just in case there's an underpaid bureaucrat who is in need.

The conservative plan? Increase deficits AND increase taxes on Middle America.

How's THAT for a poke-in-the-belly-flush-your-wallet?

On Tax Day, tell the world what you're thankful for, e.g. police, fire, schools, roads, libraries, freedom!

Dunno, granted I've been working barely-above minimum wage jobs till now, but I've always gotten a tax refund, soooo, ya know.... I got no problem with April 16th.

Does Annon not understand that taxes are not paid directly to Congress people? That there's no giant money pit in the rotunda that they just walk up to and take at their leisure?
Also, would you feel better giving your money to corporate bureaucrats?

Did you know paying taxes sucks?

I bet you didn't!

You've always cheerfully done it, thinking of all the social services you got from your taxes every time you paid.

Well, you're a sucker, because fuck the army, man, they don't need my money!

And yeah, my mom is underpaid, though she's not a bureaucrat. Now, anon, we'll be taking the money directly from you, because that's how it works.

Anonyrast finds that taxes really cut into his candy-and-chloroform budget, so no wonder he's such a whiny bitch about it.

Memo to Bruce Tinsley (AKA Useless Dipshit):

President Obama passed the larges middle-class tax cut in history!
I know you never let facts get in the way of your shit-smearing but there it is anyway.
