Those damned Polls

What's Mallard raving about today?

Death, taxes.

Patrick Henry: Give me Liberty or Give Me Death

Mallard Filmore: Give me Death, so I don't have to pay some sort of price for Liberty.

Freedom isn't free...unless it involves me paying any sort of price for it. In that case, IT SHOULD BE FREE AND I'LL SCREAM AND FLAIL AROUND AND POUND MY HIGH CHAIR AND HOLD MY BREATH UNTIL I TURN BLUE UNLESS I NEVER HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING FOR ANYTHING EVER!!!!111eleventybillionone

Tins does realize that one actually pays taxes all year long, yes?

Can you imagine how Tinsley would react if Garry Trudeau drew Uncle Sam as a sloppy pig?

Tinsley loves death more than he likes paying for the government that keeps his nation running. Now you know why he stayed quiet about those "misgivings" he now pretends he had about the Iraq occupation.

Hey, Batshit! Do a strip about how General Electric paid zero taxes on five billion dollars' profit in 2010, yet still demands concessions from its labor forces! ...If you have the guts. (Ha ha, April Fools! We know you don't!)

So, we can expect to see Tinshley with a bumper sticker that reads "Choose Death" now?

Give Me Everything Free or Give Me Death!

Only three things in life are inevitable: death, taxes, and Bruce Tinsley being a whiny little bitch.

1. Cops are supported by taxes

2. Cops pull you over for DUI

THEREFORE...?

Bruce, NO! Suicide isn't the answer!

Instead, just make no money, then you won't have to pay any taxes! Don't kill yourself, kill your already dead-from-the-neck-up comic!

I feel like I should provide the counterpoint to Bill the Splut: Tinshley's hatefulness extends well beyond his dinky little comic strip, and surely his exit from the stage would be a relief to people around him. And it would make the streets of his part of Indiana after 2 a.m. a hell of a lot safer, too.

Hahahaha. Americans hate paying taxes more than they hate death.

So what else is new? Americans are rather self-centered. The positive side is that we're independent, but the negative side is that unless there's a neon sign flashing "THIS IS YOUR TAX DOLLARS MAKING SURE YOU DON'T DIE OR PAY TRIPLE BECAUSE A PRIVATE COMPANY TOOK OVER" they think all money is wasted.
