What's Mallard raving about today?
You know what I like about this week strips, is that every panhandler, including Mallard seems to be successful at obtaining money for their problems.
The thing that struck me about this past week was that it started off with a warning about the imagrey...ostensibly because those damned hyper-sensitive liberals would be offended by his depiction of "persons of streetness," but he might have been warning that he'd be subjecting us to a week of cliches (or, as he put it, the "classic cartoon image").Next up: A week's worth of "castaway-on-a-deserted-island" cartoons, to show that Mallard's not afraid to tackle the controversial topic of the Stranded-American.
I though people played folk songs with guitars, not boards of wood with nails sticking out of them.
