What's Mallard raving about today?
Emerson, Presidential candidates.
While part of me appreciates the correction, since this the common misquotation slightly mangles Emerson's intent, I feel that a poorly-illustrated Duck who recently invented a singing pedophile is in no position to cast pedantic stones.
Plus, it's not like Mallard exhibits a foolish consistency regarding anything.

Anyone know which comic strip this is supposed to be? I need to see more drawings of the duck to be sure.
Of course, the intent of this is to set up the following: When John Kerry seemed to shift positions on an issue, he was a dirty flip-flopper. When Rudy, Newty, Mitt, et. al. shift positions to tack right, they are abandoning their formerly foolish ways, and they are absolved from being called flippers.
