What's Mallard raving about today?
Reality TV.
I think I know what's going on. Mallard is playing a game of I Spy with himself.
He looks around his apartment and makes a cartoon out of the first three things that catch his eye. In this case a dog, a sweater, and a queer.
What the dog is doing in his apartment is any one's guess.

The sad thing is, "Rejected Reality Show" ideas could be a funny idea for a series of strips. It's just that Tinsley is so painfully unfunny, he can't make it work.
I will admit that today's installment is somewhat funnuier than the average Mallard, largely due to it being non-political. But what's the deal with two dog-themed "shows" in a row?
I am astounded that Tinsley knew that Vera Wang makes sweaters.
Now come on. Tinsley just loves dogs. It's not weird or anything. Although...
"Name of Reality TV Show" - Noun + "Dog" = the limit to which Tinsely can make fun of reality TV.
Tommorrow: Dancing with the Dogs!
The next day: Dogs the Bounty Hunter! With real dogs!
The more obvious one that will be used. The Anna Nicole's Dog Show. Just the dog. (Can't remember the same, too lazy to look it up)
You know Tinsley won't be able to resist Reality Show + Dog + Anna Nicole. There may even be an appearance by Evil Sun.
