What's Mallard raving about today?
Amphibious Americans, The Media.
Ain't it the truth...we've been paying the price ever since.
Also worth mentioning that this is deeply ironic considering that Mallard owes his existence to the fact that he's an affirmative action counterweight to Doonesbury.

Tinsley can't even remember how Mallard's first comic went?
It's true that "Pyrrhic" doesn't even begin to describe it, but only because Tinsley apparently doesn't know what the word means, beyond that it's something you stick before "victory."
Fifteen years later we know that nothing Tinsley puts in the comic begins to describe anything.
Oh, God. What if Tinshley's decided to rewind back to the mid-90s and start over again, like For Better or For Zombie? It would definitely be an effective way to ignore how Obama doesn't destroy the country over the next eight years. All he has to do is take each cartoon he did way back when, and draw it much much worse.
Mallard is Retconning his own nose!
You'd think that the crowd of "it's easy to get a job and earn decent money" would be able to stand up for their own beliefs by refusing jobs given for reasons that against them. After all, a different job should be equally obtainable if anybody can get a job.
I prefer the version of the word that has military dress and war dancing.
*go against
Bah.
If it weren't for historical revisionism, the richfluegel would just be a bunch of incoherent, naysaying, universe-of-straw building -- oh. Wait a minute . . .
