That damned Reason

What's Mallard raving about today?

George Zimmerman

Who's rushing to judgement now, Mallard?

This callback to the LA/Reginald Denny riots is pure racism.

Mallard Fillmore has crossed the line. I'm writing to the PI although the cowards on its editorial board will do nothing.

When did Linda Tripp become a liberal bogeyman?

Somebody burst into one of my newsgroups to declare that "you lefties" should go to some blog for some intelligent conservative discussion. I responded by quoting a paragraph from the website and saying it looked like they had their hands kind of full, but maybe we could have a good old chinwag after the black-on-everybody-else intifada they were talking about was over.

I can't believe that Tinsley is allowed to state the obvious. Let's pretend that riots don't happen under such circumstances and that an acquittal of Zimmerman won't lead to a riot. It's nicer to believe what isn't true!

I can't believe that Tinsley, brave little man that he is, still posts anonymously here.

Ah, there's the not-a-racist-you-are Bruce Tinsley I was missing only yesterday: the sniveling bigot who's still too much of a shit-eating coward to name the parties he's talking about.

You know, the dog-whistle racist.

Anonymous: If you want to lecture anyone about "believing what isn't true," go bark at the idiots who bend over backwards daily to contrive the most insane justifications for the assault and murder of a kid walking home from the store with a bag of Skittles.

Want to talk about "stating the obvious?" If the murderer and victim's races were reversed, you and your fellow scumbags would be screaming for a trial-free lynching.

I just simply don't understand why this is a partisan issue. I guess since MSNBC first shone a light on this issue sympathetic for the kid that got killed for no other reason than being black, the reactionary right-wing blowhards jumped to Zimmerman's defense. How can they possibly think this makes them look good? Is there any decency at all remaining on the right? I'm just perplexed.

I have facebook friends who are saying that the media is at fault because they never give attention to the black on white crime going on in the country (and they are sure to post some news story about a black guy beating up a white guy). I tell them to get back to me when the black guy goes free for a month until the prosecutor is shamed into filing charges.

I think that this is such a partisan issue, because it is the NRA-GOP-sponsored laws that are as much at fault and on trial.

Somebody parachuted into one of my newsgroups and challenged "you lefties" to debate real GOP intellectuals at some web site. After looking, I reported back that they seemed to be concerned with some intifada that the black people have against everyone else. Perhaps when that's all done with, I said, we could all sit down and have a nice old chin wag.

But he didn't reply, having gone on (no doubt) to drop the same message into whatever other newsgroups he could think of. Fearing the Other is a full-time job.

Anonymous #1 can see into the future! That, or he cynically believes the worst of everybody, especially people with certain biological traits.

Let's talk instead about how Bruce Tinsley is too incapable an artist to even draw Sheaf of Paper consistently.

In this strip, it's a napkin-sized 5x7".

On Sunday, the miserable elderly couple were both reading blank-paged alleged newspapers while watching TV. One appears to be a 17x11" tabloid; the other a ~44x30" 'super-broadsheet', suitable for publishing architectural drawings in.

Take a fucking drawing class, you piteous hack.
