Those damned Notaries

What's Mallard raving about today?

Reality TV, a Notary Public.

Sweet Jesus, apparently Mallard feels he has more to contribute to the Failed-Reality Show topic. Prepare yourselves for a long, long week.

Darn it, he must have found out we were on to his "dog" equation.

Now he's just randomly filling in nouns.

Only one cartoonist has ever been able to mine any humor out of the "notary public" profession, and that was the late, great Don Martin.

I did a quick search for "Don Martin notary public," and found a funny reminiscence about the story in question:

Lance Parkertip, Noted Notary Public

Tinsley has a thing about notary publics--I remember quite a long while ago, he had a strip where Mallard's fish was fantasizing about being an heroic NP. I'm ashamed to admit I thought it was sort of funny.

...or should that be "notaries public?"

Hi! I believe that the "duck" icon is not an appropriate representation of himself. I'd rather pick something else and for sure it will not be a duck! Have a nice day! :)

It's a fucking "seal embosser", you prick. Christ, it took me 20 seconds on google to find out what they were called. Little self-important wanker rants on and on and on about poor education and how kids be dumb, but uses "seal stamper thingy", and calls it a day.

Yes, it's "notaries public", GeoX.
