That damned Justice

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama, Sonia Sotomayor

So, I am not going to go so far out on a limb to say Republicans won't succeed with this line of attack. After all this is the Party which has managed to actually cause people to debate whether torture is sometimes OK.

That said, I am not sure how exactly you are going win the argument that the first Black President and the first Latina nominee to the Supreme Court are both racist.

Not that I really want to dissuade the Republicans from pursuing this strategy if they are really hell bent on reaching the same levels of approval among Latinos as they currently have among Blacks.

"Colorblind" is definitely the key word to raise. It's really important to remind people how the fact that 96% of all Supreme Court justices have been white guys doesn't prove anything about the American power structure--it's just that they were invariably SO MUCH more qualified than anyone else. In all cases.

The funny thing is, calling Tinsley on this crap would only confirm his opinions because OH NOES TEH LEFT IS TRYING TO SILENCE ME! I really can't imagine how his allegedly liberal wife can stand his drunken, racist ass.

As I've said before and will probably say again, I'm convinced it's because True Father married them to each other, so they believe that to break that marriage would pollute their "whole lineage forever."

Graphing the week so far, we're about three days from a strip that just says "BEANER BEANER BEANER" in gigantic font, followed by a four-dot ellipsis. Maybe a badly drawn duck in there somewhere.

There is no proof other than one out-of-context comment that Sotomayor is not colorblind and not capable of fulfilling her duties as a judge. She already is a judge, just not a supreme court justice.

I do note that Obama has avoided nominating a concept or a statue for the supreme court seat. I'm not sure why MF is making fun of that.

Obama and Sotomayor talk about race.

Talking about race makes you a racist the same way that talking about cartoons makes you a cartoonist.

Can anyone here doodle a duck?

He should nominate Stephen Colbert - after all, he "doesn't see race", so he doesn't even know he's white!

Holy flaming pitchfork of Moloch!

Now we have straw Justice.

Anyway, I'd rather be colorblind than blind drunk, Duckey.

Perhaps not the best example, rewinn. I'm pretty damn sure I can draw a duck better than Tinsley.

Oh you silly silly liberals. Ducky has it right on the head: she's a female Hispanic; by default she can't POSSIBLY be in any way qualified to be a court justice! All those people know is hydraulics on cars and making welfare babies!

Also, I'm counting this strip as using the Liberal Buckteeth Ducky likes to use when making baseless attack propaganda.

Oh, sweet Nanny, I am *sure* that you could be a better cartoonist than Tinkley!

But, no offense, it's hardly a fair contest. Who could be worse?

Chris Muir.

The duck would spew its imbecilic talking points while sprawled in front of a webcam in a physically impossible erotic pose. And it would have giant bezier-curve tits.
