That damned Speech

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama, Hate Speech.

Seriously, why not just write: "President Obama. Hate Speech. Booga Booga!"

It's just as funny, just as apt, and would elicit the same reaction from the people of who reacted to the actual strip, since both are just empty recitations of dog whistle terms.

Has Obama ever said or intimated ANYTHING that could have ANY factual relation to this strip? Of course not--but you, Tinsley, barfed it out anyway because, lacking any better ideas, you thought it would be a good idea to go back to your efforts to devalue the very concept of racism. Why? Because you're a worthless hack, obviously. Also--I don't know if this has ever been mentioned here before--a pathetic drunk.

FOX News still on the air? Limbaugh still on radio? Gingrich still writing books? Coulter still showing up for speeches? Bachmann still in congress? Beck still crying? Cheneys still on the loose?

I think conservative pundits who disagree with Obama are doing just fine. So why the paranoia? Being a perpetual victim is fun?

Are we back to THIS, Batshit? Seriously? You're THIS bereft of ideas? Well, I shouldn't be surprised.

Anyway, the timing is ironic; the Triumphant Teabagger, Rand Paul, is now flip-flopping like mad on civil rights after stuffing his foot alllll the way down his throat and bawling that straightforward questions about his beliefs constitute a "media hit job" (with the vocal aid of Papa Ron, who was once a fave of the Anybody But Clinton Crowd until his own bigotry was spotlighted).

Batshit must be going apeshit over THAT. Two weeks can't pass quickly enough.

Sure, Obama hates dissenting opinions. I guess that's why he filled his cabinet with opposing viewpoints. I guess that's also why he went into the lion's den of the Republican healthcare meeting and mopped the floor with those idiots. What color is the sky in your world Tinsley?

Next thing you know, Obama will be sequestering conservatives away in free speech zones, and having them arrested for anti-health care bumper stickers.

At the start of the week, when the strips were "I hate Muslims" followed by "I hate Hispanics," I was thinking of starting a pool as to how soon Bruce would do another "Only people who speak against racism are racists" strip. And he couldn't even wait until the end of the week!

WV: biessed; as Bruce would say, "I'm not biessed against brown people, I just hate them for their color. Those racists!"

I think Brewsky is working for the liberals; by coming out four-square in favor of hate speech he's killing the cons among youth

There are legitimate reasons to oppose Obama. By being barely to the right of Nixon, he's clearly a dangerous radical liberal, for instance, and must therefore be a foreign agent trying to make this great nation socialist. It stands to reason, provided you can keep hitting yourself on the head fast enough.

Translation: "Whaaahhh!! The mean ol' darkie won't just sit back an' take it when we lie about him! WWHAA-AH-AH-AAHHH!!!"

WV: Ancor: The type of rancor that weighs you down like an anchor. Displayed on a daily basis in "Mallard Fillmore".

In better comics: A flawless representation of the Texas Board of White-Washing History's decision-making process, with a touch of Arizonoid Hatred thrown in.

No, but I'm sure he's THOUGHT it often, during all that time he spends clutching Sheaf of Papers in the Void.

It's like Obama's version of clearing brush.
