That damned Location

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama

This is the raving of an unhinged mad man/duck.

An unhinged mad man without anything legitimate to gripe about, so he's wildly inventing things to gripe about.

It might be sad, if Mallard were worth of even the smallest amount of sympathy...but he's not.

In a forum discussion, this would be the point everyone tells the massively-failing idiot that his utter (if unspoken) capitulation is accepted.

are you sure this comic strip is not done by a weak AI? I'm guess someone feeds it talking points and it spits out a comic.

Wow, Tinsley is really ratcheting up the derp.

It's like he's jumping up and down waving his arms screaming "Look, over here, over here!!!"

Fuck you Tinsley.

Way to stay topical, Brooze! Why not throw in a Clinton blow job joke while you're strolling down Memory Lane? Or something about Chappaquiddick? Ted's dead, but why should that stop you? Was that too hard to do? Hard--like CLINTON'S PENIS HAW HAW

Is there a pool on whether this tripe goes on for a third week?

The "57 states" quote provides an interesting look into the partisan mind. I'm amazed that I still see the meme floating around: partisan conservatives actually believe that Obama -- a magna cum laude law graduate and senior constitutional law lecturer at Harvard -- did not know that there are 50 states. People actually believe this.

I've done a lot of research into cults, religions, scams, and MLM schemes. It's understandable how people can get sucked into all of those, but political tribalism is the most baffling to me. Sports tribalism is equally stupid, but at least it doesn't harm society when someone insists that Barry Bonds never used 'roids.

Bonus stupidity for the "typical white person" meme, which supposedly indicated that Obama hates white people even though he's half white and was raised in a white household.

@deepbeep Beck said Obama hates white people, so it must be true! (sarcasm) Oh, and Mallard, you are an embarassment to ducks everywhere. I hope Donald & Daffy find you in a dark alley and sodomize you with the barrel of a Louisville Slugger!

Okay then.

Can I just assume that Tins won't be trying until next week, and come back then?

I hate to detract from so scintillating a topic (seriously, the 57 states thing?), but it looks like Brews Tinshley's new hero is Andrew Napolitano:

Wow, the week's almost over and still nothing about Rupert Murdoch and the phone hacking scandal. I would think that with Tinsley's criticisms of the new media that he'd be up in arms about it. Looks like La Cucaracha beat him to the punch.

I'm confused....is this a new strip, or a rerun from 2009? I mean, it's supposed to be a political comic, right? Doesn't that mean Tinsly has to at least TRY to comment on CURRENT events, and not just random memes from 2 years ago!?
