That damned Nose

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Obama, Republican Presidential candidates

I assume we all understand what Mallard is getting at, despite the words he used, which frankly make no sense whatever.

But I wouldn't worry too much, Mallard. I'm sure if Teabaggers hold the Middle Class hostage one more time, voters will come around.

Obama's current poll-surge won't be mentioned at all in Mallard Fillmore, of course---let alone with the same glee as any dip his popularity may suffer.

But this makes the second election in a row that Batshit hasn't been able to tell readers to vote Republican with a straight face (regulars will remember that he actively attacked McCain last time around); this time he settles for the "both sides are equally rotten so why bother" argument...a ploy even more transparent coming from a neoconservative posing as an "independent" than from a firebagger.

Happy Holidays!

Yet more proof that "The Fillmore Foundation" exists only in the fevered imaginings of Mallard's diseased brain.

There really is a Fillmore Foundation. Its goal is to fill more glasses, empty them, and fill them again.

You know who has a right to complain about the nonexistant (Mallard) Fillmore Foundation?(...other than humorists who note that the "Fillmore Foundation" element is pure dunsel?)

There is an actual Fillmore Family Foundation which appears to be a nice charity:
"The signature event of the Fillmore Family Foundation is the "Prairie Fairies Fowl Supper". The Fowl Supper is a prairie phenomenon brought to life through the involvement and vision of innumerable church groups and service clubs. Each fall, in celebration of the harvest (bountiful or not) communities gather to share in a down-home Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Practically every town, large and small, has at least one Fowl Supper. Weekends from September to November are spent driving to the Fowl Supper of the week in Legion Halls to the basements of the local church."

Perhaps they should have duck on the menu?

This is the closest Bruce is going to get to admitting outright that none of the GOP hopefuls this year have any positive attributes, so I guess I'll take it.

Don't worry, Republicans! There's always Diebold and the Supreme Court Gang of Five to win it for ya!
