Those damned Moralists

What's Mallard raving about today?

Hollywood, Child Molestation

I would like to point out to Mallard that, while he feels he is scoring some political points by highlighting child molestation in Hollywood (a favorite bĂȘte noire), by the calculus he is proposing (indict 100% of a cohort in which some are guilty of child molestation) we must indict 100% of College Football, one of his favorite things in the world, as well as College Basketball and the Catholic Church. Plus, you know, Parents.

Look, Mallard, we can condemn child molesters and those who harbor them without bringing cheap political points of view into this. I mean, we can. You, apparently, can't because you are a soulless ideologue.

Ted Nugent started dating his future wife when she was age 13, and he was over 21.

He used to openly brag about sexing kids while on tour.

So with today's "comic", I think it's great for Mallard Fillmore to be attacking pedophile rightwing lunatics!

It's cute how Batshit's suddenly trying to pretend this isn't misdirection away from the Penn State scandal.

...In which, I would like to remind all, several people witnessed or were informed of children being raped and then participated (actively or passively) in a cover-up to protect their bread and butter and image. Good luck rehabilitating that, Batshit.

They were all "family values" public proselytizers, naturally.

And THAT is why Hollywood (and people in general) have issues with "judgmental moralists," Batshit. Time and again they're proven to be completely corrupt fearmongers seeking power by trying to misdirect the public's fury at some group they think can't/won't fight back.

Hey, Batshit! You harped about the ginned-up OWS "litter" nonsense; why no strip about the clean-up following that violent Penn State riot in support of JoePa covering up child molestations?

Aside: One of the favorite phrases bandied about by withered dandy prat George F. Will is "the social contract." I remember Will (many decades ago) using it to justify not discussing things like wife-beating, child molestation, and so forth. This is the neo-con mindset: ignore reality and it's Morning in America Again! Who cares if someone else suffers? It's someone else! Besides, I hear it builds character!

Don't forget wingnut talk radio hosts, especially those who vacation in the Dominican Republic with "borrowed" Viagra prescriptions.

Phase 2: ?

Phase 3: Laughs

Ahem.

Sorry, Mallard -- you were saying something about judgmental moralists?

Mallard likes cracking wise about child molestation, because he's likes to remind us he's finally found something his strip is as funny as.

@Tog - ty for the reminder about the PennState pederasty riots. Next time one of my brothers starts gassing about OWS, I'll bring that up.

Happy holidays!

He might have been able to come up with something more obtuse and bland, but it would have required too much work.
BTW, there were those of "us" who did try to spin this story as a political tool. See:
