Those damned con men

What's Mallard raving about today?

E-mail con artists, Bono, African poverty.

Today's panel leaves us with two equally-disturbing possible interpretations:
  1. Mallard does not realize these e-mails are from con artists and actually believes he has a solution to African poverty.
  2. Mallard thinks it is funny to mock African poverty and Bono's attempts to eradicate it. As if that were not enough, he juxtaposes extreme poverty against his inconvenience at having to delete bogus email, as if the two are somehow equivalent in stature.
On the plus side, no poetry!

Good heavens. As if all the bitching and moaning this crank does isn't enough, now he's casting aspersions on people who actually wake up in the morning and change the word. Go to hell, Mallard.

He will.

I actually sobbed a little bit when I saw that there was no FUCKING RHYME. Jesus CHRIST he's bad at that.

Was it supposed to be funny?

Maybe it's me, but his strips rarely make sense in the first place.

This one only makes sense if you assume he's an idiot or an asshole, which we know to be true.

Problem solved.

I hope the Sunday strip "rhymes", at lease.

Mallard, you "really" made me "laugh" today. Stick it to Bono, you badass.

There really wasn't any poetry anyway.

There are ways that the "if the hoax mails were true, we could just tell them to donate the money" joke could have been funny.

Tinsley adroitly misses them all. It takes skill

No jokes like that on Taking Stock, but worth an occasional chuckle.
