What's Mallard raving about today?
President Obama, Blogs, Twitter, Fox, Talk Radio.
Wow. Simply breathtaking.
Breathtaking in its stupidity in comparing citizen-driven journalism to talking points-driven propaganda outlets.
Or breathtaking in its delusion of grandeur in comparing Mallard Fillmore's importance to Fox and Rush Limbaugh.
Either way...breathtaking.

Yes, Obama is powerless against the onslaught of Mallard Fillmore. I'm sure it keeps him up at night.
Christ, this is embarrassing. Tinsley's really under the impression that he matters, isn't he?
Yes, there's no way Obama can ever hope to stop Mallard from... doing what, exactly?
Why, "speaking truth to power," of course! Remember how Tinsley ripped Donald Rumsfeld a new asshole for not supplying our beloved troops with sufficient armor, and for hobnobbing with mass murderers? Oh, wait...
It's been said before... but... seriously, this guy has such immense delusions of grandeur. I'd be surprised if Obama had ever read a single strip, if he's even heard of it.
Leaving Tinsley's own sense of importance aside, who else loves the comparison between Iranians -- victims of a rigged election -- and the American mouthpieces who celebrated the same thing over here? Poor, oppressed martyrbators.
(ps on Sunday's: I hope the Facebook 'Friend' doesn't give Mallard any of his spare time. He'd just blow it all on reshearch.)
We all remember when government dictated what was said on the news, talk radio, and Mallard Fillmore.
It was right up until January 20, 2009.

P. S. "Martyrbators" - FTW!
Even if Obama knew what MF was, would it even bother him?
It's like a watered down scribbled 3 second Limbaugh rant. Which is sadly what makes it amusing. It isn't even worth a postage stamp to ask him to stop.
Mallard needs to make a fool of himself in a much larger arena to get attention. This is just sad.
when I read today's MF, I first choked on my coffee at the absurdity, then raced over to this website to see you guys rip the duck a new one.
Coincidentally, duck means zero (at least in British sports slang).
I'm not sure what's worse, thinking that the highly popular, democratically elected president equals a "regime" (he's pretty much like Pol Pot in every way, basically), or that Mallard is now starting to channel Uncle Rico.
Ducky has yet to explain what exactly he thinks Obama is doing that's so Stalinesque, but dont't ask questions, citizen!
WV: Semant. It's just too easy.
The chin is starting to grow a pair of balls. Maybe that foreshadows Obama's commitment to pushing through socialized* medicine?
* or whatever non-scary word we're using to call what the rest of the industrialized world has
Yes, TREMBLE, regimes who've had complete control of the media! You are POWERLESS to stop MALLARD FILLMORE! Even the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES is TREMBLING in impotent RAGE that he is POWERLESS to stop MALLARD FILLMORE!!!
(This egomaniacal delusion has been brought to you by Jack Daniels. Please drink responsibly.)
There is no way Obama can ever hope to stop Blallard from . . .
. . . masturbating in public.
His "15 Years of Greatness" series is going to go on for the next 15 years, isn't it?
Dullard is apparently just becoming aware of Iran. Michael Jackson died 11 days ago, and the strip Candorville is already making jokes about it. Why is a strip that's only politics always so far behind the times?
What, no mention of the delusion that Obama wants to shut down Fox News and talk radio? A subset of his daily paranoia that every Democratic administration wants to become a dictatorship and is only a hair's breadth away from actually pulling it off at any given moment?
Forget O'Reilly and Limbaugh. This dude's "news" outlet of choice is clearly Bob Grant.
The really depressing part about this, he could have done a USA USA! type comic easily with this. It could have been honest, could have been true, and could have pointed out the basic idea that new technology can help keep people free if they are willing to fight. Praise the Iranian people for their courage and resourcefulness, point out how the American spirit of democracy (such as it is) is being taken up by other nations.
Instead we get a bit of self congratulatory backslapping, self aggrandizement, and comparisons that make things rather...strange shall we say. Fox is seen by a lot of people as a partisan network, just as MSNBC is, Obama doesn't seem to be trying to shut them down, nor does he seem to be trying to silence talk radio or Mallard Fillmore. Partially because the people who tend to partake in them are either partisans with their ideology or people like us who have fun mocking them. Either way, not much for 'fighting tyranny' or 'truth to power.' I'd also have less trouble respecting this if he didn't act as though any act of dissension by a liberal equated to automatic hatred of America and treason.
Disgusting. He dares compare his cushy comic gig to actual oppressed Iranians who are actually fighting for their freedom.
I knew the Iranian coverage was coming, but I never could have imagined that with the first entry he'd compare Obama to a theocratic regime and himself to the brave protesters.
And why is Twitter in quotes?
It's Mallard Fillmore. Unnecessary quotes, like ellipses, are Tinsley's bread and butter.
Heh. I haven't seen MF in perhaps a year but happened to catch today's strip. $100 says that Obama has never even heard of Tinsley or MF, but you have to admire the size of Tinsley's ego - and persecution complex - to some believe otherwise. Doubtless Tinsley believes that he is so important and influential that the White House has him on some sort of "enemies" list.
