That damned Nut

What's Mallard raving about today?

President Carter.

"It's not all that difficult...just use your ex-President status."

Are you serious?

Just how many people do you think are able to use "ex-President" status in this world, Mallard?

By my count, there are four. Of course, I inhabit the real world, so perhaps in Mallard's world there are more.

Tinsley's projection continues apace; in Mallardworld it's Carter who is a irrelevant creep saying "nutty" things in order to fill his need for attention--not Tinsley.

And what "nutty" things? Talking about racism, of course...which has since been declared meaningless by Bruce Almighty. (Yes, they're ALL nutty, Bruce. We remember your fascination with the "Dean Scream." You must still be very proud of that.)

Dear Tinsley: Carter's still in the news because of his past accomplishments and ongoing charity and world-peace efforts, which--regardless of how you feel about his presidency--are respected around the world with the glaring exception of neoconservatives and other hate-choked knuckledraggers.

Why is Bruce Tinsley in newspapers (aside from the occasional arrest)? Because the media, which he insists is in the thrall of a liberal-Jew conspiracy, uses his apeshit nonsense to help (in some small way) keep Dittoheads in a state of agitation and fear, that they may be more easily manipulated.

No contest.

He's still relevant because he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002; and because his face has apparently been replaced with female genitalia.

I'm sorry, but the idea of someone like Bruce Tinsley criticizing anyone of the caliber, of the level of integrity of Jimmy Carter just leaves me speechless.

We all understand that any monkey can sit in his pen slinging his feces at his betters, but this is just pathetic.

There really is just nothing more to add here.

Jimmy Carter looks an awful lot like Don Knotts in this strip.

And I wouldn't complain too much about ex-Presidents you dislike saying things you disagree with, Tinny, given how damned much a certain ex-Vice President has been allowed to run his fucking mouth over the last few months.

Hi, I'm former president Jimmy Carter, as drawn by a paranoid schizophenic with the DTs!

Funny. I was thinking that about ex-vice presidents. And ex-speaker of the houses. And ex-Deputy Chief of Staff's. And ex-VP-candidates.

And you all know nutty Carter. Speaking out about women's rights, living conditions in third world countries, peaceful negotiations, and humanitarian efforts. So nutty he even got a Nobel Peace Prize. But since neocons don't control the voting in that panel, we all know it's worthless. Just nuts every time he opens his mouth. The world would be a better place if he just stopped making it a better place.

How come there's no god-damned asterisk? I have no idea what allegedly "really nutty" thing Carter is supposed to have said, three weeks ago.

@Jazzbumpa
I'm thinking it's the one where Carter said that some of the most virulent anti-Obama sentiment is motivated by racism. I know, scandalous, right?

"I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he's African-American."

"I want a communist America where children are raised gay and afraid of rabbits, and I want a gun-free, drug-ridden America with no electrical power. And I support Mugabe and Hamas because I hate white people and Jews." - Jimmy Carter*

You gotta admit, he's nutty. Plus his brother was a drunk. And the rabbit story. And one term! And a peanut farmer! And those teeth! Jesus, what a nut.

Criticism of Obama motivated by racism? Preposterous! Didn't you hear? There's no such thing as racism anymore--that prominent cultural critic Bruce Tinsley has decreed it!

Hi ... I'm "Mallard Fillmore" cartoonist Bruce Tinsley, and I'm still relevant.

No, really!!

Uh ... liberals are dumb!! ...

... the media's in love with Obama!! ...

So remember kids,

Jimmy Carter using his ex-president status to point out the oft-ignored presence of racism in the anti-Obama movement: Bad.

Sarah Palin using her ex-governor status to say that Obama wants to kill the elderly and the mentally retarded: A-OK.

Carter's successor to the White House said some far nuttier things.

What a sap! He tries to help people, instead of barricading himself in a fortified bubble and only coming out to give meaningless speeches for preselected crowds at high prices.

No wonder Tin Eye hates him so much.
