Arrrrrrrgggggghhhhh!

The Seattle PI Website changed their comics page and with it the URL format for Mallard Fillmore, so this is now the Big Blog of Broken Links.

The Big Blog of Broken Links to Comics Which Are Shit Anyway

My condolences. Although the PI will suffer even more from the lost ad revenue.

I used to work at the Washington State Bar Association and, over the years, had nutured quite a few links deep into our site. Then the IT Department decided to change everything.

"But you'll bust all the links into our site, depriving us of about half our site traffic," I said.

The IT Department just smiled and went ahead. Their salaries weren't dependent on increasing site traffic.

And the PI? no longer in print.

Hooray, the horrible comic, written by the most deluded sociopath in the world, is gone! I am free, the world is a better place and everything makes so much more sense! I hope this is the beginning of the end for Tinsley--o, I mean that literally: Tinsley, drink yourself to death!

The strip (and PI) is still there; only the URLs have been changed, breaking the old links at D&C.

DaveyK would have to spend a huge amount of time going back to fix the links (for no real purpose except to new readers trying to catch up), or just leave 'em broken.

Yay Internet!

This happened to me a while ago, so I found another place that has an archive of Ducky's strips, the San Jose Mercury-News. Here's a link to the archive:

Hope that helps a little, for those masochists (like me) who insist on actually reading the strip.

I was wondering why the strips suddenly seemed less hate-filled and mind-bogglingly stupid.

Okay, okay, I wasn't, but wouldn't "404 Not Found" be an improvement both conceptually and artistically?
