That damned Time

What's Mallard raving about today?

Oprah, Reading

Yeah, I have no idea what this is about, except to say that Mallard is a smug Elitist.

Oprah: beloved by millions; lead a revival of reading and talking about books; a great American!

Mallard Fillmore: basically unknown; attacks people who encourage reading; a jealous American!

Meanwhile - isn't this supposed to be some sort of political "comic"? Why don't we have some commentary on the current contenders ... for example - did Romney really Commentary on yesterday's debate?

I don't understand the thought that books are inherently a superior medium to TV and movies. I've seen far more programs and films that were interesting and though provoking then books I've read. Hell, it's 2011, video games can tell an elaborate and crafted story just as well as any book, and do it while requiring interaction.
Is there terrible visual stuff out there? Of course. But there are thousands of books printed every year; how many of them aren't worth the paper they're printed on?

If you're so spineless that you can't post links without disguising them, don't expect anyone to take you seriously, buddy.

Annon would like to remind us all that Democrats are the REAL racists!
Thanks, Annon! Sometimes we forget the truth of reality, according to Rupert Murdoch.

So, crushing unions and kowtowing to Big Healthcare. Just the small government of The People the founders wanted!

I'm worried about Anon. You only get fifty cents or so per post for astroturfing. You can't buy very many Cheetos for that kind of money.
