That damned Comparison

What's Mallard raving about today?

Al Gore, Global Warming, Liberals

Meanwhile, Governor Rick Perry compared his denial of climate change to Galileo Galilei, officially demonstrating that Know-Nothingness is now a litmus test for Republican aspirants.

I get it. He's lying for humorous effect. Next.

I gave this one a yawn because it's one of Tinsley's often seen fill-in-the-blank strips. You know: "In other news,__(fill in a liberal target's name)__ said __(fill in quote)__ officially making him/her like a __(fill in inanimate object)__." The only thing missing is the laugh track.
Yawn.

One of the biggest tragedies of the Bush administration (about 3rd or 4th place) is that global climate change denial became a political issue, so much that it became part of the wrong-wing party platform.

Hey Rick Perry, how's that "hottest summer in Texas history" thing working out for ya? Better keep ignoring the scientists and keep getting your "facts" from Exxon!

Tinsley listens to Al Gore more than I do. I find that a bit odd.

Canned ham and linoleum are, in fact, more easily compared with Tinshley's sense of humor. Bland, artificial, and generally awful.

If Tinsley loved his kids, he would work to keep the planet we are leaving to them something other than a climatological disaster.

He isn't.

He doesn't.

Given how many times his favorite wrong-wing pundits have compared themselves AND their hate-filled rhetoric to Martin Luther King, Jr. (when they were insisting he was a secret neoconservative, and not a vile socialist communist pervert), Batshit's hypocrisy has finally reached the point of pissing me off. Congratulations on your trollery, Batshit.

Note, however, that Batshit's approach to climate change has finally downgraded from denial of its existence, beyond denial of its cause, to hurf hurf hurf liburulz iz silly and they are concernd with it so it are silly too hurf hurf hurf. An effective argument indeed LOL JK.

Hey, I got an idea for your strip, Dullard! How about the things the government does to help average people instead of billionaires and corrupt corporations that you haven't called "SOCIALIST!" or "UNAMERICAN!" You could finally top all your one panel strips with one that's NO panels!

WV: jecturin; what Bruce does when he thinks about President Michelle and/or Sarah.

With canned ham and linoleum, Mallard Fillmore once more makes a lot less sense than Zippy the Pinhead. The only difference is that with Zippy, the nonsense is intentional, seeing as it's drawn by a talented cartoonist (unlike Tinsley)

Since Al Gore is overweight Tinsley decided not to make his chin a penis-chin. Thank God he gave him a penis-finger! We dodged a bullet with this one.
